Past Continuous.

a) Look at page 38 in your Student's Book. (õpikust)
b) Read Unit 6 Ex 11 (loe läbi Unit 6 Ex 11 - past continuous tutvustus).
Oleme seda juba harjutanud Unit 8 juures töövihikus. Past continuous on kestev minevik ja seda kasutatakse rääkides tegevustest, mis olid parasjagu toimumas mingil kindlal hetkel minevikus. - Eile samal ajal ma olin õppimas. Kui õpetaja klassi astus, olid mõned lapsed oma telefonidega mängimas, mõned olid rüselemas ja mõned olid lobisemas. - Past continuous ajavormis on tegusõna vormiks was/were _____ing.
* At the same time yesterday, I was studying.
* When the teacher entered the classroom, some students were playing on their phones, some were struggling and some were chatting.
c) Do Unit 6 Ex 6 in your workbook. (töövihikust)
Selle ülesande teemaks on past continuous. Vali iga lünga jaoks õige tegusõna ning kirjuta see lünka was/were _____ing vormis. (Was - kui on 1 tegutseja, were - kui on mitmus või you.) Kasuta Google'i tõlget, kui vaja.

Year 9: Unit 6 "Should robots have rights?" (writing) (Wednesday, 18 March)

Re-read the text in your student's book pages 41-42 about giving rights to robots.

Open a Word Document. Write an essay (100 words) on the topic of "Should robots have rights?".
(Discuss the reasons for such debate. Why has this question become important these days? What are the "against" arguments? What are the "for" arguments? What is your own personal opinion?)

You can use Google Translate if you feel the need to.

If you don't have the access to any word document programme, write the essay on a paper, take a photo of that paper with your essay and send me the photo.

NB! Don't forget to write your name under your essay.

Year 5: Past simple and birthdays (Monday, 16 March)

Birthday invitation

b) Read the invitation (kutse).
c) Take a nice paper and write your own birthday invitation to a friend. (Võta üks ilus paber ja kirjuta sinna peale korraliku käekirjaga ja ilusasti paigutatult oma ingliskeelne sünnipäevakutse ühele sõbrale. Võid kaunistada ka, kui tahad, aga kui ei taha, siis ei pea. Ei pea panema oma õigeid andmeid, aga saatja nimi peab olema sinu oma.)
d) Take a photo of your invitation.
