Passiivi kasutatakse siis kui tegevuse otsest teostajat pole teada, teda ei peeta vajalikuks mainida, või mainitakse alles lause lõpus (sel juhul eessõnaga by).
Passiivi üldkuju on
BE vorm õiges ajavormis + tegusõna 3. põhivorm
Siiani oleme õppinud kahte sorti passiivi:
1) lihtoleviku passiiv (present simple passive)
am/is/are + 3. põhivorm
midagi tehakse
(In this hotel, breakfast is always served from 8 to 12. - Selles hotellis serveeritakse hommikusööki alati 8-12.)
2) lihtmineviku passiiv (past simple passive)
was/were + 3. põhivorm
midagi tehti
(This house was built fifteen years ago. - See maja ehitati viisteist aastat tagasi.)

BONUS TASKS (for extra smart)
1) https://agendaweb.org/exercises/verbs/passive-1
2) https://www.esl-lounge.com/student/grammar/3g20-passive-active-exercise.php
The extra smart can take photos of their bonus task results, too, and send those in addition to the 2 compulsory task photos.
(I strongly suggest doing these Bonus Tasks to those who are planning to continue their education in some gymnasium in the future. They are good preparation.)
GOOD LUCK and GODSPEED!
